Fear & Faith

“Fear and Faith both ask you for the same thing: to believe in something you can’t see. This is the real issue most of us deal with on a daily basis and is what we must eventually answer if you are to enjoy a life of excitement, adventure and freedom. It can be summed up by saying it is the difference between pessimism and optimism. The pessimist believes in their fears; believing those negative fears will come to pass. On the other hand the optimist believes in their faith; believing their positive faith will come to pass. Pessimism attracts doubt, anxieties, undue stresses, ungratefulness, hopelessness, depression and any and all negative energy. Optimism attracts courage, strength, endurance, gratitude, peace, calmness, hope, and a faith that all things will work to your good…” — Rick Cox

All of us have and will face more situations where we have or encounter fear that grips our hearts. All of us have had our doubts about something coming out positive. All of us have struggled with believing good could happen. The thing is, will you let this type of thinking rule and run your life? Will you let it keep you from becoming all you can be? Will you allow your fears to hold you back or bind you to something that will stunt your growth? That is a choice you have to make and a choice that only you can make. You are the keeper of your own soul.

The Bible says, as a man thinks, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7) James Allen wrote a book on this proverb. He said, “The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors; that which it loves, and also that which it fears. So, what kind of life do you want to live? What will you allow to rule and run your life? Will you decide to be a pessimist or an optimist? The one you choose will be the one that decides your fate in life. The one you choose will be the one that catches the winds of life. If you decide to be a pessimist then the winds of life will buffet you and you will be the worse for it. If you decide to be an optimist then this sail will be properly turned into the winds of life so you can use those winds to navigate through the stormy waters knowing all will be well. The choice is yours and yours alone.

Best of LUCK as you
