Live Your Life The Way YOU Want to Leave Your Life by Les Brown
“Les Brown, a fantastic motivational speaker and inspirer makes a powerful statement by saying: “Live Your life the way you want to leave your life.” — Rick Cox
By saying this Les challenges us to contemplate what changes we would make if we only had 90 days left to live. Would you lead your life differently? How many of us would make radical changes to align our lives with our deepest passions and desires?
Some key tips are:
Identify your passion:
Reflect on what truly excites and inspires you. Your business or profession should be built around something you love and are genuinely passionate about.
Research your niche:
Explore market trends, competitor analysis, and customer demographics to identify a niche within your passion that has potential for success.
Create a solid business plan:
Outline your business goals, target audience, revenue streams, marketing strategies, and financial projections to guide your entrepreneurial journey. (Very important to remember is the fact YOU ALWAYS WORK FOR YOURSELF even when the company for which you work is not your own. Your paycheck is your own and thus you are responsible for where that money goes and how it grows. That said you need to be passionate about what you do and that passion will translate into income you can use to bless others and yourself).
Build your brand:
Develop a unique brand identity that reflects your passion and resonates with your target audience. Invest in professional branding elements such as logos, website designs and social media presence. Again, always remember, YOU WORK FOR YOURSELF! That said YOU are the one that is being branded and YOU are the one that is marketing YOURSELF. The world is your marketplace so go make it happen.
Start Small:
Do not feel pressured to launch a large-scale business right away. Begin with a minimum viable product or service and gradually scale up as you gain traction and confidence. There is a very wise Biblical scripture that says, “Despise not the day of small beginnings.” A seed is a small beginning and yet it can and does always produce something much larger than its own size after it germinates and grows into what it was designed to be. You are no different. You will start small and if you persist like the seed pushing thru the soil, you will grow into that for which you were designed to be.
Network and collaborate:
Surround yourself with like-minded individuals, mentors, and entrepreneurs who can offer support, guidance, and valuable connections. Remember, if you are the smartest of your friends, you are not hanging out with the right friends. You need others to challenge you as well as motivate you to go higher than you are today. That will not happen by those that are at or below your level.
Stay persistent and resilient:
Entrepreneurship is filled with challenges and setbacks, but don’t let them deter you from pursuing your dreams. Stay committed, adapt to changes, and keep pushing forward with determination and resilience. Back to what we have said in previous keys, YOU WORK FOR YOURSELF. That means you will be challenged to become better at whatever it is you do for a living. You will be challenged to be a better manager or leader. You will be challenged to be a better manager of your time and energy. You must remain focused on and be persistent. You must be tenacious and robust in pushing ahead when everything appears like you should quit or when quitting is easiest. Keep pushing ahead and WIN.
By following these tips and staying true to your passion, you can turn your entrepreneurial vision into a thriving business that not only fulfilled your personal aspirations, but also impacts the lives of others as well.
Best of LUCK as you
