One of the Keys to Success

It is an unfortunate fact that most are not aware of the needs of those around them. They are too busy doing their ever level best to seek fame and fortune, while many around them are in dire straits. This does not mean we are to carry those who are not willing to help themselves, but we are to be aware of the legitimate needs and thereby, provide a helping and encouraging hand. As a matter of fact, in doing so, we become a conduit through which blessings can flow. As a conduit through which the blessings flow there is a residual benefit to the conduit. The conduit is more often than not blessed to the level of or greater than those to which the blessings are intended.
Zig Ziglar said, “You can have anything you want if you can just get enough people what they want.” In case you are not 100% sure of what is being said, please allow me to interpolate. Ziglar saw the benefit of being a benefit to others. He saw the benefit of being a conduit through which blessings could flow. He realized if he could provide benefit to many, then the residual benefit to him would be greater than if he limited himself in providing benefit to one, or to a few.
If you want to be a success, look around yourself and ask what is the greatest need and then learn how to fill it. This will work wherever you are or in whatever position you now hold. You may be an apprentice, an intern, or any entry level position, but as you look about, what is it you see that most people need? Are you genuinely concerned enough about others to turn on and ramp up your sensitivity to what they may be in need of right now?
Trust me, if you will do this, you will find yourself climbing the ladder of success quicker than you ever thought possible. It will happen because your eyes are on the needs of others and how you may be of benefit to them. This will open your creative abilities to new levels. It will cause you to find solutions others need and in doing so provide benefit to them and you at the same time. Your value will grow and those around you will respect and push you up life’s ladder of success.
