If you want to change the world, do not back down from the sharks.
Just like the oceans, the world on land is full of sharks or predators of one shape or another. These sharks are always trying to get the best of us. Doing their best to chew us up and spit out the bones. Swimming in the business ocean is like swimming in an ocean with real sharks. If we are going to complete our swim across a portion of the ocean or the business world, we must keep swimming. If we keep swimming we will have to deal with the sharks.
When we are dealing in the business world we are swimming in the business ocean and can be eaten by business sharks. What can cause us to fail? Once, again, as we have seen previously, it is fear. Fear is the main obstacle in almost every decision that causes us to hesitate or procrastinate. This hesitation and procrastination can be costly. In swimming in the ocean, it may cost a part of your body or it may even cost you, your life. In swimming in the business world, it may cost you a major part of all you have or it just may cost you all you have.
That said, you must keep your eyes on the sharks and make sure they know you are not afraid. You may be shaking in your boots or in your wetsuit but you cannot let them know. You must be able to stay focused and keep your eyes fixed on theirs and you will be able to outwit them and win. You must take courage to face your foes and not give in. You must make the commitment to allow nothing and no one to stand in your way. For if you do not take courage, if you do not face your fears, you will find these fears as well as those around you determining the paths you will walk and the type of life you will live.
Without courage you are at the mercy of giving in to all the temptations. You become weak and unable to stand your own ground based on what you thought you believed. Without courage, societies would be run by despots and tyrants as all of the BULLIES OF LIFE would rise up. And, without courage, no great society can flourish.
With courage however, you can reach and accomplish any goal. With courage you can defy the odds and defeat evil. So, be courageous, don’t back down from the sharks. Face them and win..
